In the late 90's there was testimony in front of Congress that said the Russians have attained their goal of smuggling nukes into the USA BEFORE 9/11.

I suspect that when Bush bombs Iran, the Russians will detonate these suitcase nukes, BUT Muslims will take all of the blame for them. Gee, isn't that convenient?

I think the aerial display that Israel did the other day was just for show, they will not be in on the bombing of Iran, because they are too far away. It would be a suicide mission to refuel in the air, while Iranians jets are chasing you. FORGET IT....

They will not use Iraqi territory or the US carriers in the Gulf either.

Transgender Juveniles Allowed to Wear Bras in Jail

ALBANY - A state policy to stock up on bras and panties for transgendered males in juvenile jails drew outrage Wednesday.

Republicans, religious groups and some Democrats blasted the state's decision.

"Where will we stop?" asked Assembly GOP Minority Leader James Tedisco. "Do they need lipstick and eyeliner?"

"It takes troubled kids and makes them more confused than they already are," Motley said.

The Office of Children and Family Services, which oversees 30 juvenile jails, quietly extended its anti-discrimination policy to include transgendered people.

The policy allows boys who believe they are girls to wear bras and panties, wear makeup, shave body parts and even request a transfer to a girl's facility.

"Nothing is wrong anymore," said Sen. Ruben Diaz Jr., a minister and Bronx Democrat. "We have no more morals, no more traditional values."

Assemblyman Michael Benjamin said the policy could prove to be "disruptive" inside the facilities.

"I understand the need for the staff to be tolerant and respectful of those who are gay or transgendered because it sends a signal to the young people there, but I draw the line at clothing," Benjamin said.

Saudi King: 'We will pump more oil'

Saudi Arabia will raise oil production to record levels within weeks in an attempt to avert an escalation of social and political unrest around the world. King Abdullah signalled the commitment to the UN secretary general, Ban Ki-moon, at the weekend after the impact of skyrocketing oil prices on food sparked protests and riots from Spain to South Korea.

Next month, the Saudis will be pumping an extra half-a-million barrels of oil a day compared to last month, bringing total Saudi production to 9.7 million barrels a day, their highest ever level. But the world's biggest oil exporters are coupling the increase with an appeal to western Europe to cut fuel taxes to lower the price of petrol to consumers.

Saudi Arabia, which has called an emergency meeting of oil producers and consumers in the port city Jeddah next Sunday, says the energy crisis has not been caused purely by market pressures but by a speculative bubble. Saudi Arabia and Opec believe there are no shortages to justify the sudden surge in prices.
