A UNITED Nations envoy admitted yesterday that he believed that members of Hamas were on the UN payroll in the Palestinian territories, but he rejected Israeli assertions that fighters in Gaza had been videotaped loading a rocket into a UN vehicle.

Israel has called on the UN to investigate after releasing footage taken by a drone flying over the Jabaliya refugee camp during the current operation to establish a buffer zone against missiles fired from the northern Gaza Strip.

The UN said in a statement that the “object visible on the tape is a folded stretcher. It appears to be the wrong length and much too light” to be a missile.

However, Peter Hansen, the head of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which provides aid to Palestinian refugees, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation he had little doubt that the UN employed members of the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

“Oh, I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll and I don’t see that as a crime,” he said. “Hamas as a political organisation does not mean that every member is a militant and we do not do political vetting and exclude people from one persuasion as against another.

“We demand of our staff, whatever their political persuasion is, that they behave in accordance with UN standards and norms for neutrality.”

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) called for an independent investigation to be led by the United Nations into the recent eruption of violence between Israel and Hamas along the Gaza strip that has killed scores of innocent civilians.

Monday brought a third day of Israeli bombing Gaza in what the state is calling its "all-out" war on Hamas. So far, 345 people have been killed by the bombs. At least 57 of the dead are civilians, including 21 children, according to the UN.

Kucinich said he wrote to UN General Secretary Ban ki-Moon urging an "independent inquiry of Israel's war against Gaza." The Democratic lawmaker said Israel's attacks are an example of "collective punishment," which violates the Geneva Conventions.

Alaska Getting COOLER?

According to Chinese medicine and philosophy, when stress, bad diet and other factors disrupt a person's energy flow, they become ill due to imbalance between their body and the universe.

If the magnetic field of the Earth became out of balance, we (our bodies) would also be out of balance. Nature and our bodies might try to adjust to the shift, but still there could be consequences due to the imbalance.

If the magnetic field of the Earth is being manipulated by artificial means (Scalar and HAARP), the Earth will naturally try to correct the shift. The Russians are manipulating the magnetic field above the Arctic to promote the melting of ice, so it will be easier for them to steal the oil. According to a UN Treaty Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Canada, Russia and the USA all equally share this area.
