My husband works for a steel mill. Up until January, they have been the biggest employer in town. Then the day after Obama's inauguration the EPA came in... Fined the crap out of them. They laid off 40% of the workforce, cut hours from 50 down to 32/week. They are expecting to close down operations by June. Thanks to cap and trade. Freaking sucks!
