Obama Met with Supreme Court Just days Prior to Inauguration

A lawyer whose case challenging Barack Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office was denied a hearing in the U.S. Supreme Court says she will demand records of a meeting between the justices and the president.

California lawyer Orly Taitz, who has several cases pending over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural born" citizen, told WND she will take action soon.

Her case was the most recent on which the Supreme Court held a "conference," an off-the-record discussion at which justices discuss whether to take a case. Taitz told WND the justices decided Jan. 23 to deny her case a hearing on its merits.

The result was the same for previous cases brought by Philip Berg, whose information is on his ObamaCrimes.com website, as well as Cort Wrotnowski.

Like Berg's cases, Taitz said hers now reverts to the lower court, where it was pending when her emergency appeals were submitted to the Supreme Court.

When the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court meet on Dec. 5th, in their regular private conference to decide which cases to hear, two lawsuits that have captivated a segment of the blogosphere will be up for discussion.

Both urge the court to consider claims that President-elect Obama is not qualified to be president, because he is not a natural-born American citizen.

Persistent concerns about the qualifications of both major party candidates rank among the oddest aspects of 2008's historic campaign.

Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution provides that "No person except a natural born citizen" is eligible to be president. John McCain's status was questioned because he was born in the Panama Canal Zone and various theories have been advanced to cast doubt on Obama's.

Lawsuits over the inclusion of their names on state general-election ballots popped up around the country and were quickly dispensed with by local courts. But two challengers have pursued their cases to the Supreme Court.

Pennsylvania lawyer Philip Berg claims that the circumstances of Obama's birth are vague and that he may have been born in Kenya. Obama's mother, Berg asserts, later flew to Hawaii to register the birth.

Leo Donofrio, a New Jersey lawyer, contends that election officials in his state failed to ensure that only legally qualified candidates were placed on the ballot. Obama may have been born in the United States, Donofrio argues, but "natural born" status depends on both parents being American citizens. Obama's father was Kenyan.

The justices are unlikely to take up these cases for a host of reasons, not the least of which is the invitation to overturn the results of an election in which more than 66 million Americans voted for Obama. An equally high hurdle is the issue of whether Berg or Donofrio have the legal right to sue claiming a violation of the Constitution.

In dismissing Berg's complaint, a federal judge in Pennsylvania found that he failed to meet the basic test required for sustaining a lawsuit, because he couldn't show how the inclusion of Obama's name on the ballot would cause him -- apart from others -- some particular harm. Berg's stake, the judge said, "is no greater and his status no more differentiated than that of millions of other voters."

Other courts presented with similar challenges have reached the same conclusion, ruling that there is no general legal right to sue over the Constitution's eligibility requirements. Federal courts typically reject claims of legal standing based simply on a litigant's status as a voter or taxpayer.

The Obama campaign had hoped to end the controversy last spring by releasing his actual Hawaii birth certificate. But that prompted further questions about its authenticity, which were compounded when state authorities in Hawaii said they could not vouch for it, because they were constrained by the privacy laws.

Then, on Oct. 31st, the director of Hawaii's Department of Health issued a statement, proclaiming that he had personally seen and verified that the state has "Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record," which shows that he was born there.

Poll - 25% Disagree With Supreme Court Decision on Gun Ban

FOX News reported that 25% of Americans polled disagreed with the decision regarding the courts findings that the Washington DC Gun Ban was unconstitutional. 63% agreed with the decision and another 12% were UNSURE. Four of the communist judges voted against the right for Americans to bear arms, this was a close call and a dangerous one at that. Thank George Bush for this victory folks, because it was his judges that pulled this victory from the jaws of defeat.

Michael Savage has been the toughest Bush critic of all conservative talk radio, but yesterday he gave the President some serious props. I have disagreed with Bush also, but I know that this would be much much worse, if Gore or Kerry would have won that election.

This victory for gun owners is the biggest in American history. Notice that the highest crime rates take place in the Chicago and Washington DC? How many of the other cities are fudging their crime numbers so that people feel safe and to attract more tourism? The fact is that George W. Bush may have prevented a revolution. No Supreme Court in our history has secured our freedoms the way this one has today. Not FDR's court, not Reagan's court, none. This gives power to the people in a way that no other president has been responsible for. Bush has many failings, but when it comes to the core issues of our civilization, he does the right thing.
And so as the election approaches, remember the choice. You have Obama, a leftist socialist who would give us another gun-grabbing Ginsburg on the court, or McCain, who would appoint a conservative like Bush did.

Michael Savage - "Arrest Liberal Supreme Court Judges"

Michael Savage mentioned on his radio show yesterday that the Supreme Court Judges that voted AGAINST the interests of National Security, should be placed under arrest. Yesterday, the Supreme Court decided that the enemy combatants being held at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, have the same rights as any American under the U.S. Constitution. Well, I have news for them, nothing can be further from the truth, because the US Consitution is for AMERICAN CITIZENS and it is NOT an International DOCUMENT or treaty.

I agree 100% with Michael Savage and I was actually going to call his show to recommend the same solution, but someone beat me to it. I can tell that many patriotic Americans, such as myself and Michael Savage are sick and tired of the communist infiltration into our courts and the media. This decision put ALL AMERICANS, (liberal or not) at risk and I feel the decision is biased due to the 'liberal' views of these particular judges and not based on the constitution. I also feel that it was politically motivated.

Where is the outrage? I also agree with Michael Savage that George Bush is afraid to do the right thing here, because of the anti-Republican/anti-Bush media will go against him no matter what he does or says. The liberals are cheering this decision, but they will soon be cheering to their own demise.

What will it take to save this country? Martial law? Will it take that to weed out the infiltrators, insurgents and communists in the Congress, Senate, Supreme and lower courts and of course the media? Time is running out and Bush can NOT leave this country in the hands of Hussein Obama and 'Old man' McCain. The Republican party should boot McCain out into the street, because he does NOT stand for OUR CONSERVATIVE VALUES.

I would support Bush 100% if he arrested these Supreme Court judges, because they clearly are NOT acting in the best interest of the people and the Constitution.
