Tax Day party count nearing 2,000 U.S. cities

While WND has been tracking 400 individual tea parties across the nation, the American Family Association has announced its count is nearing 1,600 – for Tax Day alone.

The AFA, planned to coordinate 1,000 Taxed Enough Already, or TEA, parties to be held at 12 p.m. on April 15 in front of city halls across the nation.

But the group is pleasantly surprised as is stands to double that goal before Tax Day is here.

"Our goal was to have a TEA party in 1,500 cities. We are nearly 100 cities above our goal and still growing," said Donald E. Wildmon, AFA chairman.

The AFA sponsored TEA parties are in addition to hundreds of parties planned by other groups. Taxpayers are also organizing tea parties for Independence Day and various Saturdays so people with conflicting work schedules may attend.

Meanwhile, a Google Maps list shows several locations of citizen tea parties – so many that the United States is nearly hidden behind a sea of blue markers.

Wildmon said the protests are essential because the government's reckless spending is burdening America with insurmountable debt.

A hedge fund manager who predicted the global credit crunch has said the financial crisis has been 'stimulating' and the culmination of his life's work.

George Soros, who predicted the global financial crisis twice before, was one of the few people to anticipate and prepare for the current economic collapse.

Mr Soros said his prediction meant he was better able to brace his Quantum investment fund against the gloabal storm.

But other investors failed to take notice of his prediction and his decision to come out of retirement in 2007 to manage the fund made him $US2.9 billion.

And while the financial crisis continued to deepen across the globe, the 78-year-old still managed to make $1.1 billion last year.

'It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work,' he told national newspaper The Australian.

People are waking up, I am seeing it more and more each day on the usual sites that the little left wing Marxists frequent to push their propaganda. The front lines for propaganda is on the Internet and I am really seeing a surge of conservatives speaking out and contacting me. It is a good sign.

There is a right wing backlash happening as we speak (Michael Savage predicted this). The people are getting a bad feeling that something is just not quite right in this country and there is something that the media is not telling them.

Youtube is very important and when the Obama thugs take control of that? It would be a serious blow. Silencing talk radio and conservatives on the Internet is no doubt being examined by these Stalinist creeps that we have in Congress, the Senate and in the White House at the moment.

Obama said he is not for the Fairness Doctrine, but his henchmen and women will gladly do the dirty work for him. He is ALL for this censorship, this is what socialist dictators do folks...silence the opposition with an iron fist.

I just viewed the documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed by Ben Stein and I must say that I was more impressed than even I expected to be.

The scientific community without a doubt has an anti-Religion, pro-Marxist agenda. The link between Hitler and Darwin is explored also and it is something that today's left wing Marxists want to hide from people, because it would be bad PR for their atheist agenda.

This scientist Richard Dawkins is in the movie and he is interviewed by Ben Stein. He is an idol for the fanatical atheists that are spewing their hatred against religion 24/7 on the Internet. Stein made him look like a crack pot, along with the other scientists that are opposed to any link between God and creation.

It is hilarious that they credit aliens with planting the seed of life, rather than a God or God. One rocket scientist even said that life was possibly created by cells on the back of crystals. I was stunned. This guy is a scientist teaching our youth? It is no wonder the college kids are coming out brainwashed Marxists and dumb bells that hate religion and the USA.

Stein should do a sequel linking Karl Marx, Darwin, Hitler, Mao and Stalin. The libtards will lose their minds LOL.....

CARACAS -- Venezuela's unenviable reputation for violent crime looks easy to prove but difficult to explain, as does the government's apparent inability to do much in terms of reining in murderous thugs with evidently all too easy access to firearms.

In the absence of official statistics, Provea, a civil rights group, says that 10,606 people died by violent means in the 12 months ending in September this year. That marked a 10.86% jump on the already high figure of 9,567 killings in the corresponding period a year before.

Provea is estimating that on current trends the full year will end with more than 13,000 murders. No wonder that crime repeatedly comes top in one opinion poll after another. And yet, people seem curiously inured to the relentless slaughter.
