Obama Wants to Disarm U.S. Pilots

The Obama administration is taking steps quietly to shut down the program that qualifies commercial airline pilots to carry firearms in jetliner cockpits in order to ward off another 9/11-type attack.

The administration recently diverted $2 million from a program to train and certify pilots to carry firearms safely while on duty. Instead, it is using the money to hire additional field inspectors to help discipline pilots who step out of line, according to a report in Tuesday’s Washington Times.

A Times editorial condemned the Obama administration's action, calling it “completely unnecessary harassment of the pilots.”

Gun Store Owner - They Can't Make Guns Fast Enough

This is what happens when people fear their own government. People are waking up to the danger....

ALERT - Obama to Seek New Assault Weapons Ban

Gain control of the economy and put fear into the minds of the masses? What is next? Guns and free speech of course. Hey, I think Hitler did this as well? Oh, do not mind me, I am just thinking out loud about our new socialist dictator :)

Hey Barry, we know that you are busy conquering us, but please try to get that birth certificate to us when you get a chance. Thanks bro...

The Obama administration will seek to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 during the Bush administration, Attorney General Eric Holder said today.

Ammo Ban And Registration Proposal

Now dispose of all of your ammunition! Every last round! From now on, you will be able to buy only overpriced ammunition that will be registered to you in a government database.

Not yet--at least for now. A small company, Ammunition Accountability--which wants to help anti-gunners price and regulate the Second Amendment out of existence, profit at the expense of our rights, or both--has found radical anti-gun legislators in 18 states willing to introduce bills pushing such nonsense.

But few anti-gun proposals are so overtly aimed at destroying the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. As we began noting on www.nraila.org in January, so-called "encoded ammunition" or "serialized ammunition" bills would require ammunition manufacturers to engrave a serial number on the base of the bullet and the inside of the cartridge casing of each round of ammunition for popular sporting caliber center-fire rifles, all center-fire pistols, all .22 rimfire rifles and pistols, and all 12 gauge shotguns. In all but one of the bills, people would be required to forfeit all personally owned non-"encoded" ammunition. After a certain date, it would be illegal to possess non-"encoded" ammunition. Reloading would be rendered illegal.

People would be required to separately register every box of "encoded ammunition" and the registration would be supplied to the police. Each box of ammunition would have a unique serial number, thus a separate registration. Gun owners would have to maintain records if they sell ammunition to anyone, including family members or friends. The cost of ammunition would soar, for police and private citizens alike. The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturing Institute estimates it would take three weeks to produce ammunition currently produced in a single day. A tax of five cents a round would be imposed on private citizens, not only upon initial sale, but every time the ammunition changes hands thereafter.

And to what benefit in terms of fighting crime? Criminals already steal guns and would certainly steal ammunition. Burglaries would be encouraged. Criminals could also use shotguns, which fire pellets too small to encode, and which use shell casings made of plastic, which would be difficult to engrave. Criminals could also collect ammunition cases from shooting ranges, and reload them with molten lead bullets made without serial numbers.

Congress eliminated a handgun ammunition sale recordation requirement in 1983, because there was no law enforcement benefit. Be on the lookout in your states in the next legislative session for anti-gun zealots who refuse to learn from history, plus continue their crusade against our Second Amendment rights.

Michael Savage - High on Bush

Michael Savage has been the toughest Bush critic of all conservative talk radio, but yesterday he gave the President some serious props. I have disagreed with Bush also, but I know that this would be much much worse, if Gore or Kerry would have won that election.

This victory for gun owners is the biggest in American history. Notice that the highest crime rates take place in the Chicago and Washington DC? How many of the other cities are fudging their crime numbers so that people feel safe and to attract more tourism? The fight has to continue, because these left wing nuts, the UN, the terrorists and so on want Americans disarmed so we can not stop their socialist assault on this Country.

Bush will do the right thing on Iran next, he knows that he has no choice, because he can not leave this in the hands of Hussein Obama.

Here is an article from Savages page praising Bush and his conservative appointments to the Supreme Court.

Bush's Legacy: The Greatest American President? By Beowulf Rochlen and Michael Savage The Supreme Court's decision today is George W. Bush's most important legacy. For all of his faults, George W. Bush appointed solid conservative justices to the bench. Alito and Roberts, his appointees, along with Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia, defeated Ginsburg and the radical leftist wing of the court.

For decades, liberals insisted that the Second Amendment, which protects our right to keep and bears arms, did not apply to the people. Today, Bush's court asserted that it did apply to the people, that they do have the right to keep and bear arms. Today, Bush's court asserted that the socialists in Washington D.C., and other leftist cities can't keep guns from people who want to defend themselves from thugs and terrorists. Today, Bush's court asserted that liberal statists like Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer who never fired a BB gun in their lives can take their plans for grabbing guns from the American people and return them to the Hague.

Imagine if Gore had won and appointed a corrupt trial lawyer to the court? Imagine if Kerry had won and appointed the head of the ACLU to the court? American freedom was one Supreme Court vote away from falling into the abyss. And it was George W. Bush who pulled it back from the edge.

Because of this ruling, George W. Bush may be remembered as the greatest American president. America was on the verge of boiling over with anger at one liberal decision after another. The fact is that George W. Bush may have prevented a revolution. No Supreme Court in our history has secured our freedoms the way this one has today. Not FDR's court, not Reagan's court, none. This gives power to the people in a way that no other president has been responsible for. Bush has many failings, but when it comes to the core issues of our civilization, he does the right thing.
And so as the election approaches, remember the choice. You have Obama, a leftist socialist who would give us another gun-grabbing Ginsburg on the court, or McCain, who would appoint a conservative like Bush did.
